The flight controller with SBEC
The Graupner Ultra 20 A SBEC is the ideal controller for all model aircraft that require a receiver power supply. The ULTRA 20 A SBEC combines a compact design, low weight, fast response times and settings optimised for model aircraft.
The Ultra controller has the open source BLHeli Main software version 14.x installed. The controller can of course also be reflashed to BL Heli MULTI or TAIL. The flight controller is the only open source electronic speed control that uses the modern 50 MHz Silabs processors and can be set and updated with the Graupner Updatekable 7168.6, as well as a voltage divider for voltage measurement with the receivers provided for this purpose, e.g. 33565, 33575 or Copter Flight Controls (e.g. Betaflight setting: 92). Compared to its predecessors, the processor has twice the clock speed. This guarantees higher maximum speeds and precise timing at high speeds.
The output stage is housed in a 5 x 6 DFN package. The field effect transistors (FET) have extremely low internal resistance. Special FET drivers ensure more effective active freewheeling and better cooling of the output stage.
The special capacitors used enable super-fast start-up times and guarantee high operational reliability.
The controller channels are already optimised for Graupner receivers.
The speed limit of the ULTRA controllers is 400,000 rpm for two-pole motors.
The SBEC is designed for 3A continuous current and can handle short-term peak loads of up to 6 small servos.
An additional voltage sensor cable allows voltage measurement and warning with the GR-12 SH or GR-12 SH gyro receiver in the K5: Voltage setting. This feature is absolutely unique in this controller category and allows you to detect a low battery in good time, thus protecting your model.
